Come grow with us! Join our team as a Landscape Department Manager - Irrigation at our Apex, North Carolina location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responds to basic and more complex customer questions concerning product including recommendations for substitutions, resolves a variety of customer service issues and processes sales transactions.
- Manages department inventory through cycle counts, identification of demand changes, and ensuring proper product mix.
- Provides supervision and work direction to departmental personnel and assists with problem solving, training and/or mentoring of less experienced personnel.
- Performs administrative functions for the department, including but not limited to product receiving, purchase orders, product transfers and defective good disposition.
- Delivers technical/product training to department employees and/or customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of experience in the nursery, irrigation and/or turfgrass industry.
- Basic understanding of re-wholesaling.
- Basic sales and managerial experience, which includes issue management, motivation and/or team building.
- Experience in supply management and product inventory management.
- Computer experience required.
