Come grow with us! Join our team as a Director, Technical Accounting & Reporting at our Roswell, GA location.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partners with senior leadership to ensure strategies and priorities are aligned with corporate objectives while ensuring appropriate financial controls.
  • Provides expert accounting advice on purchase accounting for acquisitions and other company transactions.
  • Leads the SEC reporting process and prepares Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and assists with 8-K reporting; manages the company’s disclosure reporting process.
  • Directs the application of the following key technical topics: ASC 260 "Earnings Per Share", ASC 330 "Inventory", ASC 350 "Intangibles — Goodwill and Other", "ASC 470 "Debt", ASC 505 "Equity", ASC 605 "Revenue Recognition", ASC 718 "Compensation - Stock Compensation", ASC 805 "Business Combinations", ASC 830 "Foreign Currency" and other standards as applicable.
  • Functions as a key point of contact with external auditors pertaining to the annual company audit, quarterly reviews and resolution of significant accounting matters.
  • Directs the review, interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards and policies (e.g., Accounting Standard Updates to US GAAP, including Revenue Convergence, Leasing, etc.).
  • Directs the review, interpretation and implementation of new business requirements that result in accounting changes, guiding senior management on key strategic impacts to plans and objectives. (e.g., Industry, SEC, other regulatory, etc.).
  • Consults with the legal organization on transaction contracting matters.
  • Carries out special projects as required.

Qualifications:

 

Education:

  • BS in Accounting.
  • CPA required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years accounting experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in accounting management/leadership role.
  • Public company and Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Experience in a post IPO environment a plus.
